This liquid polish is for copper metals. A little goes a long way. Simply rub it on and rub it off and you're all done. Copper is a metal that will discolor in several ways. It can have green (imagine the Statue of Liberty), blue, or black tarnish or patina. If your copper piece is supposed to have the petina, then do not use this product to remove it.
